Η Intel αποκαλύπτει και επίσημα τον νέο της επεξεργαστή που θα φέρει chip γραφικών της AMD ενώ οι πρώτες εκτιμήσεις για τις επιδόσεις μιλούν για μια mobile GTX 1060!
Τη συγκεκριμένη είδηση πολλοί την περίμεναν αλλά λίγοι την πίστευαν, όμως πλέον είναι γεγονός μιας και η Intel θα αποκαλύψει σε λίγες ώρες και επίσημα έναν νέο επεξεργαστή με ενσωματωμένα γραφικά της AMD. Οι Core i7-8809G και Core i7-8705G εντάσσονται στην 8η γενιά των Coffee Lake επεξεργαστών της εταιρίας ενσωματώνοντας 4 πυρήνες και 8 threads, κάτι που μέχρι τώρα έλειπε από το lineup της Intel.
Αυτό που όμως κεντρίζει το ενδιαφέρον είναι η ενσωμάτωση AMD Vega chip γραφικών με επιδόσεις που σύμφωνα με τα λεγόμενα των πηγών αγγίζουν αυτές μιας mobile GTX 1060! Το εξίσου εντυπωσιακό είναι πως το chip γραφικών θα συνδέεται και με 4GB HBM2 μνήμης που θα βρίσκει στο ίδιο package, αλλά όχι στο ίδιο die, όπως γίνεται στις κάρτες γραφικών της AMD ενώ πληροφορίες λένε πως θα είναι και ξεκλείδωτος για άνετο overclocking.
